Johann Sebastian Bach (1685-1750), composer, keyboard and violin virtuoso, inventor and designer of musical instruments, was already a legend in his own lifetime. He was hailed as the supreme genius of polyphony and Baroque Music. No other musician has ever been so inspirational and influential on endless generations of peers.
Bach’s timeless music has triumphed over centuries of stylistic changes to be embraced by all genres.
